How long does it take to charge a Tesla S?
My partner finally bought a Tesla Model S after saving up for years, and I’m excited for them (and for myself, too, I have to admit)! Although I’m all for saving the environment, I’m a little nervous about how long Teslas take to charge—my partner’s job takes them driving all around our state, and I’m worried that if they forget to plug it in one night, they’ll run out of charge and get stranded somewhere without cell reception. How long will a Tesla Model S take to charge?

Congratulations to your partner, and kudos to you for being so thoughtful about their safety. I’m happy to say that although it takes up to 44 hours to charge a Tesla S at home from empty to full, there is a way to charge it quickly.
The best way to charge your

quickly is for your partner to find a public charging station. These stations have a rapid charging option, which can take a battery from 20% to 80% in 30-80 minutes. If your partner does forget to charge their car overnight, all they have to do is find a public charging station, and they should be all set to head out to the middle of nowhere.However, if you want to make sure that they can get home safely no matter what, you can also encourage them to add
towing and labor coverage
