How long does it take to charge a Tesla Model S?
How long will it normally take to fully charge a Tesla Model S? I’m considering buying one, but I drive a lot. I want to make sure that I’ll be able to charge it in time for my commute every morning.

owners opt out of the wall chargers since they cost around $1,500 to install. Here are some alternative chargers you can use along with their charging times:- If you use the standard 110v outlets in your house, it could take your Model S up to 135 hours to reach full charge.
- If you use the 250v chargers that most homes use for washing machines, your Model S will reach full charge within 10 hours.
- If you use a Tesla Supercharger station, you can fully charge your car within 1.5 hours.
Remember, driving a Tesla isn’t so different from driving a gas-powered car. You wouldn’t refill your gas every day since your car can drive hundreds of miles on a full tank. The lowest mileage for any Tesla model is 262 miles on a single charge, so you shouldn’t worry about recharging every night.
