How long does it take for Illinois tolls to post?
I’m doing some traveling in Illinois to visit family, and I signed up for a Pay By Plate account so I wouldn’t have to worry about toll roads. But I’ve been on the road for a week now, and I’m not seeing any toll charges show up on my bank account. How long does it take for Illinois tolls to post? I don’t want to get any late fees!

The Pay By Plate system is a smart choice if you’re on an Illinois road trip, as it lets you pay your tolls easily. And don’t stress—it can take up to 30 days for Illinois tolls to post on your account.
If a month has gone by and you’re still not seeing any toll charges, contact the folks at the Illinois Tollway for assistance. But for now, you can motor through those toll zones with confidence!
