How long does an SR-22 remain on your record?

How long does an SR-22 have to stay on your driving record? I recently had to get an SR-22 after a DUI.

“An SR-22 endorsement usually remains on your record for two to three years depending on where you live.
Make sure that you continue to have an SR-22 endorsement on your car insurance, as failing to do so or letting your car insurance lapse can result in fines or even suspension of your registration or license.”
