How long do you have to wait before driving on a sealed driveway?

Can I drive on my sealed driveway or do I have to wait for a few days? I want to park my car in my garage because I don’t like to leave it exposed to the elements overnight, but I also don’t want to mess up my driveway.

In the summer, you’ll have to wait for 24 to 48 hours before driving on a newly sealed driveway. If it’s cold where you live, however, it’s best to wait for at least 72 hours before you try to park on your new driveway.
This is because the heat from the sun helps the sealant to dry more quickly in the summer. When it’s cold outside, it takes longer for the driveway to set. Driving on your newly sealed driveway too early could cause bumps or divots on the surface, so it’s better to be safe than sorry.
If you’re worried about your car in the meantime, try to find
a parking garage
near you that you can use to store your car for a few days. That way, it won’t be exposed to the elements.
