How long do you have to wait before driving after rotator cuff surgery?

I’m about to get rotator cuff surgery, but my friend asked me to help him move. I want to help, but I doubt I’ll really be able to lift anything. Will I at least be able to help with driving?

After rotator cuff surgery, you should avoid driving for 6 to 12 weeks, depending on what your doctor recommends. We are car experts, not doctors, so you should always follow your doctor’s orders.
However, you’re also right that you shouldn’t lift heavy objects after your surgery, so you’re off the hook for helping your friend move.
While you might be tempted to drive with one arm to get around the restrictions, this can be
unsafe
if you don’t have use of your other arm while recovering. Instead, it’s best to wait until you’re fully healed to get back behind the wheel.
While you’re recovering, why not take a minute to save some money on your car insurance? The
