How long do Toyota hybrid car batteries last?

My partner and I have been considering buying a Toyota hybrid, but we're a little worried about battery replacement costs. How long do Toyota hybrid batteries typically last?

While average car batteries only last between 3 and 5 years, hybrid batteries typically last for between 8 and 10 years. Generally speaking, a hybrid battery pack will last between 80,000 and 100,000 miles.
However, Toyota vehicles have come with battery warranties that last for the first 10 years or 150,000 miles. If your battery dies any earlier than that, Toyota will replace it for free!
Some Toyota batteries have even been reported to last for over 200,000 miles. Since the average American only drives around 10,000 miles per year, you shouldn’t have to worry about your battery for a while.
