How long your rotors last on your car is going to depend on how frequently you drive and the climate conditions where you live. In general, though, you’ll want to get new rotors every 30,000 to 60,000 miles.
You could get new rotors whenever you’re getting new brake pads. However, pads last a decent while longer than rotors, so you’d end up getting fresh brake pads more often than you need to. This isn’t bad for your car or anything, but it will be more expensive.
