How long do car batteries last in Colorado?

I just moved to Colorado, and I’m already having a bit of trouble driving in the mountainous area where I live. That said, I’m also worried about the cost of car maintenance when you live in Colorado, specifically with the battery. How long do car batteries generally last in the Centennial State?

Car batteries will last between three and five years in
Colorado
, which is the same as it would be almost anywhere else in the country.
A common misconception is that cold weather will limit a battery’s lifespan, but this isn’t true. Hot weather actually wreaks more havoc on a battery, often cutting its life span from three to five years down to two to three years.
If you need to get a new one, the
car battery replacement cost
in Colorado is around $100 for a standard battery or $150 to $200 for a premium battery with a longer warranty.
