How long do Camry Hybrid batteries last?
A friend of mine has an older Camry Hybrid and he recently had to have the battery replaced. He said it costs a small fortune, and that I should brace myself for the expense. I have a 2020 Camry Hybrid that’s been awesome so far, but how long will the Camry Hybrid’s batteries last?

Don’t fret! In 2019, Toyota extended the warranty on the life of its hybrid batteries. As a result, the 2020 [Camry Hybrid] battery should last up to 10 years or 150,000 miles.
If the battery starts to fail before then for any reason, it’s under warranty, so you should be able to take your car to get a full replacement with no questions asked.
If the battery is out of warranty, you’ll have to pay out-of-pocket for the replacement. The typical cost you can anticipate for this is between $2,000 and $5,000, depending on where you get the repairs and if you buy a new or used battery.
