How good is Tesla self-driving?

I know that Tesla is one of the top companies when it comes to autonomous vehicles, so I’m interested in buying one. However, I’ve also read that other companies are catching up. Just how good is Tesla’s self-driving feature?

Tesla
 is certainly a front-runner in terms of autonomous technology. But just how good it is is in the eye of the beholder. If you’re talking in terms of full autonomy, Tesla isn’t quite there. But if you’re talking about the best self-driving cars currently available, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better option.
That said, the Full Self-Driving mode on Teslas comes at a $10,000 premium. If you have the cash or can get a decent

, go for it. You won’t find better elsewhere.
