How far is Washington, D.C. from New York driving?

I recently moved to New York from California, so it’s safe to say that I’ve never faced a winter quite like this one. My windshield fogs up every time I start my car, which is a real pain when I have to drive to work every morning! How do I keep ice from forming on my windshield while driving?

Will roadside assistance raise my rates? I was reading about CLUE reports and now I'm hesitant to use my roadside assistance through my auto insurer because it might raise my rates.

I recently switched home insurance companies. There was a hailstorm that caused some damage to my roof just before my new policy came into effect. Does this mean I need to make a claim with my old insurance company?
