How far is New York from Boston when driving?

My girlfriend had to move to Ithaca, New York for college but I’m still stuck in Boston for another year. Will I be able to visit her by driving, or will I have to take a plane? I’m hoping they’re not that far apart, but I’m also a little scared to drive that far.

I’m sorry to hear that—long-distance sucks! Luckily, you’ll be able to visit your girlfriend in New York by driving from Boston, but the drive will take you about five and a half hours to complete. The two cities are a little over 330 miles apart, so it’s a pretty long trip.
If you do decide to make the drive, make sure to
prepare before you leave
by eating a healthy meal, drinking plenty of water, and getting a good night’s sleep. It’s also important to make stops along the way to give your body time to rest and stretch!
When driving long distances, it’s also really important that you have a good insurance policy. The
