How do you wash a ceramic coated car?
I have ceramic coating on the outside of my car to protect the paint. I want to start washing it at home, but I’m not sure where to begin. How do you wash a ceramic coated car?

Since your car has a ceramic coating, you have two at-home methods to choose from when you wash your car: the two-bucket method and the pressure washer method. Here’s how:
Two-bucket method:
- Pre-rinse your car with pressure washer or hose
- Wash the car using a wash mitt, a bucket for soap, and a bucket for water
- Rinse the car the same way as you pre-rinsed
- Dry the car with compressed air, a leaf blower, or a microfiber towel
- Use a ceramic coating maintenance spray
Pressure washer method:
- Pre-rinse the car
- Pour snow foam shampoo and water (as instructed by shampoo instructions) into the foam cannon
- Attach the foam cannon to your pressure washer and spray shampoo on your car
- Rinse the foam from the car after letting it sit for around 5 minutes
- Dry the car with compressed air, a leaf blower, or a microfiber towel
- Use a ceramic coating maintenance spray
