How do you start a Toyota Auris?
I’m renting a Toyota Auris for the weekend, and I know this might seem bad, but I don’t get how to start this car. I never even knew that the Auris was a Toyota model. I’m too embarrassed to ask my partner, who seems to have no trouble starting the car, but it’s my turn to drive tomorrow and I need help. How do I start a Toyota Auris?

The Toyota Auris has a keyless start system and can be very confusing to anyone that’s never used this feature before, so there’s nothing to be ashamed of here. It may just be that your partner has some experience with keyless start cars.
To start the Auris, press the brake firmly and push the power button, located to the right of the steering wheel. Once you hear a beep you have successfully started the Auris.
