How do you turn on the fog lights in a Jeep Liberty?
I recently started a new job with an early morning commute, and there’s always fog on the road when I’m heading to work. Is there a fog light feature in a Jeep Liberty? If so, how do I turn it on?

Congrats on the new job! It’s good that you’re looking to stay safe on your commute; fog can really impact visibility, and luckily the Jeep Liberty has a fog light feature you can use. Here’s how to turn on your fog lights.
- Turn on your car
- Find the lever to the left of the steering wheel that you use to control your normal headlights.
- Find the fog light symbol on the lever’s control knob; this will look like the high beams symbol, but with a squiggly line running through the lines on the left-hand side.
- Turn the lever knob to the fog lights symbol.
- Push the lever away from the steering wheel to turn on your fog lights. Pulling the lever back towards you will turn them off.
While fog lights are there to keep you safe, low visibility conditions can still cause accidents if you’re not careful. That’s why it’s important that you and your Jeep Liberty are insured.
