Good job making sure your tires are properly inflated! You can turn off the TPMS light (tire pressure monitoring system light) on your
Honda Civic
by adjusting the tire pressure or driving slowly for about ten minutes.
The light may still be illuminated if you didn’t fill up the tires to the correct PSI, which can be found on a sticker on the sill of the driver’s door. Use a tire pressure gauge to confirm the correct pressure and adjust accordingly.
If all of the tires are properly inflated, then drive around at a speed over 20mph for at least 10 minutes. This should cause the light to reset automatically. This will give the onboard computer a chance to collect data from the TPMS sensors and calibrate themselves accordingly.
If the light remains on, one of your tire pressure sensors may be damaged, and you should
visit a mechanic
or take your Civic to a Honda dealer.
