How do you turn off the split-screen on a BMW X3?

Can you tell me how to turn off split screen on my BMW X3? My daughter turned it on when she borrowed my car a few weeks ago, and neither of us can figure out how to turn it off again.

Once you know how to do it, it’s pretty easy to turn off split screen on your
BMW X3
; just press the Option button, then de-select Split Screen. This should turn off the split screen on your display.
If you’d like, you can also change the display on your split screen. To do this, select Split Screen again, then select Split screen content to change what you see on your display. This can be helpful if you need a map on your display while driving.
