How do you turn off the radio in a BMW 5 Series?
Is there a way to turn off the radio in a BMW 5 Series? I’ve had the car for a few weeks, but I can’t figure it out.

Yes! You can turn off the radio in your
BMW
5 Series by pressing the master radio button, which sometimes also functions as the volume control knob. However, this will only mute your radio, not turn it off entirely. You’ll still see the station displayed, but you won’t hear anything. If you’d like to turn off your radio completely, you’ll have to select another audio source, like a CD or your phone. While this won’t turn off your audio system, it will turn off the radio to connect to the alternative sound source.
Should you decide you also want the display off, you can power it down as well.
