How do you turn off Sentry Mode in a Tesla Model 3?
I’m still learning about my new Tesla. There are so many great features, but I went a bit overboard on enabling them when I first got it. I’m not sure how to disable certain things now. How can I disable Sentry Mode in my Tesla Model 3?

Tesla Model 3
has lots of features, so it can be hard to get to know them all at once! That said, it’s helpful to know how to disable them as it can help extend your battery life.To turn off Sentry Mode in a Tesla Model 3, you have three options:
- Voice commands
- Control menu
- Tesla mobile app
If you’d like to use voice commands, you can say different phrases to turn off Sentry Mode, including:
- Disable Sentry.
- Sentry off.
To use the control menu to turn off Sentry Mode, go to Controls, then Sentry.
Finally, you can use your Tesla mobile app. To turn off Sentry in the app, go to Controls, Safety, then Sentry Mode.
You can use all three of these methods to turn Sentry Mode back on, as well.
