How do you turn off LKAS on a Honda CR-V?

How can I turn off the LKAS in my new Honda CR-V? I thought it would be nice, but it’s super touchy and sometimes it warns me when I’m in the middle of the lane.

I can totally see why the Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) would bother you if that’s the case!
To turn off the LKAS on a Honda CR-V, just follow these steps:
  • Press MAIN on your steering wheel and scroll through your apps.
  • Select LKAS.
  • To turn off the system, press the MAIN or LKAS button.
If your LKAS is warning you when you’re in the middle of the lane, however, it’s possible that your sensor is mounted incorrectly. If you’d still like to use the lane-assist function, you can visit your local Honda dealership to have them correct the issue.
Whether you drive with or without lane assist, protect yourself, your passengers, and your car with great car insurance.
