How do you turn off driving mode on a Galaxy S6?

My phone has been sending out auto-replies when I’m driving and sometimes when I’m not driving too. The Verizon store where I bought the phone has since closed (go figure), so I can’t go ask for help. Is there a way to turn off driving mode?

That sounds super annoying! Here’s how to turn off driving mode on your Galaxy S6:
  1. Open your
    messenger app
and tap the three lines in the upper lefthand corner.
  2. Make sure the Driving Mode slider is set to OFF. This should ensure that your phone won’t send auto-replies when you’re not behind the wheel.
  3. However, driving mode may still automatically activate when you’re behind the wheel. To manage your driving mode settings, select Settings.
  4. Select Driving Mode, then make sure that only Hands-Free is selected. Any other devices selected will be allowed to connect to your phone while you’re driving.
  5. Next, select Driving Mode Auto-Reply. Here, you can edit your reply or turn it off entirely.
