Hello! 911 assist is a great feature to have in case of emergencies, but if you’re looking to turn it off, you can do so easily on your front console. Here’s how to turn off 911 assist in a Ford with SYNC.
Turn on your car. You should get either an icon or text reminder of your current 911 Assist setting, either ON or OFF, each time your phone connects to your car’s bluetooth.
Locate the settings tab on your console
Tap 911 Assist
Slide the button to the off position to disable 911 Assist.
Once you’ve disabled 911 Assist, you’ll get a reminder of its current OFF setting on your console when your phone connects to bluetooth.
