“Adding a tint to your windows is a great way to modify your Mustang and add some mystery to your vehicle as long as your state allows window tinting.
If it does, installing window tints is a fairly straightforward process. To start, you’ll need the following supplies:
Tint film
Spray bottle with a dish soap and water mixture
Microfiber or lint-free cloth
Razor blade
Scotch tape
Squeegee
After you gather your supplies, follow these steps:
Clean your windows thoroughly by spraying your dish soap mixture on the window.
Use a razor blade to scrape away all the dirt and grime. Make sure you clean both sides of the window.
Dry the window with a clean, no-lint rag.
Roll your windows up.
Cut and measure the tint film to fit your windows.
Take two pieces of tape and stick them in the corner of the tint film. The sticky sides should face each other.
Slowly pull them apart to reveal the adhesive side of the tint film.
Stick the adhesive side of the film to the inside of the window.
After you have the film in place, squeegee out the bubbles.
Trim any excess tint with the razor.
