How do you take off car emblems?

I’ve decided I don’t want the emblems on the back of my car. I know some people like them, but I just think they’re tacky and a little ugly. What’s the best way to take off my car emblem?

Nowadays, most car emblems are stuck on with adhesives, so they’re pretty easy to remove! But be careful, rushing to remove the emblem can damage your paint. Follow these steps to safely take off your car emblem:
  • Heat the emblem with a hairdryer to loosen the adhesive.
  • Slip a piece of fishing wire or floss behind the emblem and drag it back and forth while applying pressure to pry the emblem from the car.
  • Use an adhesive removal product like Goo Gone to wipe away sticky residue.
Congratulations! Your car should now be emblem-free. Remember to take it slow. Moving too quickly is an easy way to
scratch your car
