How do you shop for car insurance?

I've been with the same insurance company for three years. My rate has increased at the last two renewals. My family recommends that I shop around for car insurance. How would I do that?

To shop around, compare quotes from different insurance providers. Aim to gather quotes from at least three insurers. You can get quotes online, by phone, in person, or through
