If you’re accustomed to driving with Bluetooth connectivity, driving without it can feel inconvenient and annoying. Luckily, to set up Bluetooth in a 2009
Ford Focus
can be done in a few quick steps.
Start by turning on Bluetooth in the settings of your mobile device. Next, navigate to the multimedia system in your Ford and click ‘SYNC’, then press ‘Phone’ > ‘Add Phone’. The Ford Sync system will now be discoverable on your smartphone. In your mobile device’s Bluetooth menu, select the Ford SYNC system to connect.
Your device will start pairing with your Focus. You may need to confirm the pairing request on the SYNC screen at this stage. Your mobile device and Ford SYNC system should now be connected!
Once your device has been paired, you can perform hands-free calls, music streaming, turn-by-turn navigation, and more!
