How do you safely work on a car battery?

I think there is an electrical drain somewhere in my car. Because of this, I’m wanting to do some work on my car battery, but am concerned about safety. What is the best way to safely work on a car battery?

Great question!
Make sure you’re in a well-ventilated workplace and wear safety goggles to safely work on a car battery. Some other popular tips include using caution with metallic tools or conductors, not leaning over the battery when testing or charging it, and keeping the vents tight.
