How do you reset the oil life on a Honda Odyssey from 2013?
What’s the best way to reset the oil life on my Honda Odyssey 2013? The display says I need an oil change, but I just got one a couple of weeks ago.

While Honda’s are usually intuitive cars, they can get a little confusing for first-time users. That said, there are two ways to reset the oil life on a
Honda Odyssey
2013, depending on which type of display you have. To reset the oil life using the Info Display:
- Turn your ignition to the ON position, but don’t start your car.
- Press the SELECT knob until you reach the Engine Oil Life settings.
- Press and hold the SELECT knob until the display blinks.
- Release the knob.
- Press and hold the knob for five more seconds. Your oil life should reset to 100%.
To reset the oil life using the Multi-Info Display:
- Turn your ignition to the ON position without starting your car.
- Using the Info(Up/Down) buttons, scroll until you reach Vehicle Settings.
- Use the SEL/RESET to choose this option.
- Scroll until you reach Maintenance Reset, then use the SEL/RESET button to select this option.
- Select Reset. Your oil life should return to 100%.
If you have any further problems resetting your oil life indicator,
contact a mechanic
