How do you reset the oil life on a Honda Civic 2019?

Is there a way to reset the oil life in my Honda Civic from 2019? The indicator didn’t reset when I got my oil changed, but I don’t want to take it back to the shop just for that.

That sounds frustrating! Luckily, it’s not too hard to reset the oil life in a 2019
Honda Civic
. Here are the steps you’ll need to follow:
  1. Go to the home screen and select Settings.
  2. Select Vehicle, then click Maintenance Info.
  3. Click Select Reset Items.
  4. Select Engine Oil Life.
Once you do this, your oil life indicator should return to 100%. You may need to
take another trip to the shop
if you have any more problems with your indicator, or if you notice a burning smell, strange noises, or rough handling when driving. These things could be indicators of a leak or another issue with your system, so it’s best to get them checked out by a professional.
While you’re taking the time to reset your oil life, why not take an extra minute to save on your car insurance? It’s quick and easy when you use the
