How do you reset the airbag light on a BMW X5?
Can you tell me how to reset the airbag light on my BMW X5? It’s been coming on every time I turn on my car and I’m not sure how to make it stop. I’m hoping that if I reset the light, it’ll fix the issue.

Resetting your airbag light is definitely a good first step! To reset the airbag light on your
BMW X5
, follow these instructions:- Turn on your car and make sure that the airbag light is on.
- Wait for seven seconds, then turn your car back off.
- Repeat this process two more times. Your airbag light should turn off.
If the airbag light comes on again, it’s a good idea to have someone check out your car for you. There could be a problem with the sensor or the airbag itself, as cars often have recalls relating to sensors. If an accident occurs, the airbag will keep both you and any passengers safe.
