How do you reset a Honda oil light?
I have a 2018 Honda Odyssey EX-L. Although I recently got an oil change, I noticed that the oil maintenance light remains on. How can I reset the oil light on a Honda?

Changing the oil on your
Honda Odyssey EX-L
ensures that your family hauler continues to run great for years down the road. The oil light doesn’t always reset after an oil change, so you have to do it yourself. But I’m happy to walk you through it!Note that this will work for all Honda vehicles 2016 or later. To reset a Honda oil light, use the buttons on your steering wheel and follow these instructions:
- Turn on accessory mode by double-pressing the push-button start while your foot is off the brake.
- Press enter to dismiss any messages.
- Press the home button on the left side of the steering wheel.
- At the home screen, scroll down to maintenance. Press enter.
- Go down to oil life. Press enter.
- Press and hold enter for about 10 seconds.
- Select all due items.
- The oil light (orange wrench) should be gone.
