How do you reset a BMW key?
My BMW key is having issues. I just changed the battery, so I think it needs to be reset. How can I reset my BMW's key?

That’s good thinking to change the battery first! To reset your key, you’ll want to follow these steps:
- Put the key into the ignition.
- Turn the key to the on position.
- Now, quickly turn it to the off position.
- Immediately remove the key from the ignition.
- Next, press and hold the unlock button on the key.
- Finally, press the lock button on the key three times.
Once you complete these steps, your key should work perfectly! If you’re still having issues, consider visiting your nearest dealership. They typically can fix your key or provide you with a new one.
