How do you replace a Toyota Tundra mirror?
I decided to let my son back my truck into the garage to help him get some experience. Boy, I was wrong. As soon as he backed in, he smashed off the passenger’s side mirror. How can I replace a Toyota Tundra mirror?

! It’s part of the joys of parenthood. The good news is that replacing the side mirror isn’t as difficult as it may seem. Just follow these steps to replace the side mirror on your Toyota Tundra:
- Remove the triangular panel on the interior of the door near the side mirror.
- Pop out the plate behind the door handle to reveal a screw. Remove the screw.
- Pry out the power door and window panels. Remove it from the wiring harness.
- Unscrew any remaining screws near the door handle.
- Pry the entire door panel out starting at the bottom. Use a plastic pry bar so you don’t scratch the plastic.
- Remove the remaining wiring harness and cables.
- Now that the door panel is off, remove the screws holding the side mirror in place that are located on the interior of the door.
- Remove the side mirror.
- Put the new side mirror into place and repeat these steps in reverse order to successfully replace the Tundra mirror.
