How do you replace a Honda key battery?
What steps should I take to replace my Honda key fob battery? I can tell that it’s dying because its range shrinks a little bit every day. But I don’t know how to change the battery!

only lasts for roughly 3-4 years, so you should remember to periodically change it out. Luckily, the process is pretty easy! Follow these steps to replace your Honda key fob battery:- Release the metal key by sliding up the silver button on your key fob.
- Pry open the fob with either the metal key or a flathead screwdriver.
- Hold your thumb just above the battery to prevent the contents from spilling out.
- Remove the old battery.
- Insert your new battery, using the + and - marks to guide you.
- Snap the halves back together and replace the metal key.
- Test your key fob to ensure that the battery was properly installed.
