How do you replace a Dodge Charger bumper cover?
I smacked into a dumpster parking my car at my apartment. There is a crack in the bumper cover, and I am hoping to replace it myself and skip the insurance claim. How do you replace a Dodge Charger bumper cover?

So sorry to hear about your cracked bumper cover! Luckily, a replacement typically runs between $100 and $500 and can be replaced fairly easily.
To remove and change your
Dodge Charger
bumper cover, you will need to remove two 10mm bolts, eight 7mm bolts, and about a dozen retainer pins.Your
Dodge
Charger bumper cover is mostly held in place with plastic push-lock retainer pins. These often break when you remove them, so plan on replacing the pins with the bumper cover. - First, open the hood, and remove all of the pins along the top of the bumper cover. Pry them up with a small pry bar or a flathead screwdriver.
- In the wheel well, there are 3 more plastic retainer pins. Remove those next. Peel back the fender liner and locate the 10mm bolt holding the bumper cover in place.
- Locate and take off the eight 7mm bolts securing the bumper cover underneath your car.
- You can now carefully pull the bumper cover free, and put the new one in place. Replace the retainer pins and bolts and you are all set!
