To renew your driver’s license in Missouri, you can visit a driver’s licensing office as early as six months before your license expires. If you are currently serving in the U.S. military, you also have the option to renew your license via mail.
To renew your license in person:
  1. Pass the eye and road signs test. If your license expired over six months ago, you’ll also have to retake the driving and written tests.
  2. Present documents that include your name, birthdate, birthplace, and Social Security number. Click here for a complete list of acceptable documents.
  3. Pay the associated fee.
While you update your license, take an extra minute to update your car insurance with the Jerry app. Jerry makes it easy to find the best rates on the coverage you need, saving the average user over $800 a year in the process.
