Where do I need to go to renew my Honolulu driver’s license? I haven’t had to renew my license since moving to Hawaii and I’m not sure how to do it.

Renewing your driver’s license in Honolulu is pretty simple, but you will need to make an appointment with the Department of Customer Services to complete your license renewal. Bring documents with you to prove your:
  • U.S. presence
  • Legal name
  • Date of birth
  • Principal residential address
You can visit the Honolulu Department of Customer Services website for a full list of acceptable documents. You’ll also need a method of payment for the $20 license renewal fee.
While you’re updating your license, consider updating your car insurance policy, too. Check out the Jerry app, where you can see a list of quotes for the coverage you need in a matter of minutes. The average user saves over $800 per year.
