How do you remove water spots from a car's upholstery?

I got a new car not too long ago, and I want to keep it in really good shape. Unfortunately, I spilled some water on my leather seats, and I'm worried it'll stain. What should I do?

Answer
You can remove water stains from leather car seats using a mild dish soap and leather conditioner.
Here’s how:
  • Start by vacuuming your seats to get rid of any debris.
  • Squirt a few drops of a mild dish soap into a bucket or large bowl of warm water.
  • Dip a sponge into the bucket or bowl, but be sure to squeeze the sponge, so that it’s not dripping wet.
  • Gently scrub the stained area with the sponge.
  • Use a moist microfiber cloth to wipe off any soapy residue.
  • Let the leather dry.
  • Apply a leather conditioner to the area.
You could also try mixing some vinegar in with the dish soap in a 1:1 ratio. But be careful to not overdo the vinegar, or else you could damage your leather seats.
