How do you remove the back seat in a Honda Civic from 2006?

What’s the best way to remove the back seat from my Honda Civic 2006? I’m getting ready to move, and I want to transport stuff in the back of my car, so I don’t have to rent a truck.

Moving can be a fun experience, but it can also be really frustrating when you don’t have the right equipment. Luckily, the
Honda Civic
can handle much more storage when you take out the back seat. Follow these steps to remove the
back seat
in a Honda Civic 2006:
  1. Open the trunk and remove the false floor.
  2. Rip off any cloth or trim attached to the seats with velcro.
  3. Remove the two bolts holding the seat in place with a 14mm wrench.
  4. Remove the other two bolts in the front of the bench.
  5. At this point, you should be able to pull out the seatbacks.
  6. **Unbolt the U-bracket on the driver’s side of your bench.
  7. Pinch and pull the two clips under the sea to remove them.
  8. Slide the bench out through a side door.
Hopefully, these steps will help you remove the bench from your Honda Civic. Remember, this kind of work is easier with an assistant. Check with your friends and family to see if someone can help you out.
