How do you remove sticker residue from your windshield?

My son has finally aged out of his cartoon phase and I want to remove all the stickers he put on my back windshield. What’s the best way to remove them?

I’m sure your son’s imagination flourished having those stickers on the car! Luckily, removing those sticks won’t be too much trouble. To start, grab the following:
  • Bucket
  • Warm water
  • Dishwashing liquid
  • Cloth
  • Plastic scraper
Once you have your supplies, follow these steps:
  • Try to remove as much of the sticker as you can with your hands.
  • Mix warm water and some dishwashing soap in the bucket.
  • Using a cloth, thoroughly mix the ingredients in the bucket.
  • Now, take the wet cloth and soak the adhesive and the area around it.
  • Hold the cloth over the sticker for a few minutes. The goal is to soak the sticker as much as possible.
  • After a few minutes, remove the cloth and use a plastic scraper or your fingers to scrape off the adhesive.
  • If you don’t get it all, continue to soak it and try again.
  • Once you remove all the adhesive, take a dry towel and pat the area to avoid streaks.
