How do you remove scratches from a car stereo's screen?

I let my sister borrow my SUV to go to work for a week because I work from home. When she gave the car back to me, I noticed that there were some scratches in the car stereo screen. How can I get rid of these scratches?

Scratches are definitely frustrating, but they are fixable! You’ll want to start by calling your
car insurance
to see if it’s covered—but if not, you still have options! You can apply any one of the following substances to the stereo screen and wipe away the excess:
  • Vegetable oil
  • Scratch elimination creams
  • Baby powder
  • Toothpaste
  • Baking soda
With any luck, you should be able to read the car stereo screen after this!
However, if these don’t work and your car insurance doesn’t cover the repair, you may want to add a policy that will cover stereo scratches to your plan. To do this easily, check out the
Jerry
app—we’ll get you customized quotes from top-of-the-line providers, so that all you need to do is pick the policy that works best for you!
Best of luck with the repairs!
