How do you remove hard water stains from car windows?

My windows are spotty. I’m assuming the stains are from hard water. How can I clean this?

“I’m sorry to hear about your spotty windows, but this is an easy fix!
Water spots usually come from a mineral left behind when water evaporates. You may want to look around and try and figure out where this is coming from so you’re not constantly dealing with it.
A sprinkler nearby or drip from a leaky garage could cause these problems. Or it may have been from the road if you were driving in the rain.
To get rid of the hard water stains, here’s what you’ll need:
  • Gloves
  • Clean, soft cloth
  • A spray bottle with white distilled vinegar and warm water in it, in equal amounts.
To start, spray the mixture on your windshield and let it soak for about 5 minutes. The vinegar should loosen the mineral deposits, which should then wipe away with your cloth. Both options offer more powerful cleaning, which should remove the water stains.
Another way you can care for your car is by making sure you have roadside assistance. With
