How do you remove hard water spots from car paint?

My car keeps getting wet from my neighbor’s sprinklers, and the water often leaves spots on my car. How do I get them off?

You can remove those annoying spots by mixing one part white vinegar and one part distilled water (not tap water) in a spray bottle. Spray the solution on the spots, wait for 10 minutes, and wipe it off. Your car should be clean!
If that doesn’t work, you could try:
  • Scrubbing with a clay bar
  • Buying a water spot remover or mineral deposit remover
