How do you remove hard water spots from car paint?

My car keeps getting wet from my neighbor’s sprinklers, and the water often leaves spots on my car. How do I get them off?

You can remove those annoying spots by mixing one part white vinegar and one part distilled water (not tap water) in a spray bottle. Spray the solution on the spots, wait for 10 minutes, and wipe it off. Your car should be clean!
If that doesn’t work, you could try:
  • Scrubbing with a clay bar
  • Buying a water spot remover or mineral deposit remover
If you’re the kind of person who worries about your car’s appearance, you probably want to be sure that your insurance policy is there for you in case of an accident. Check out the Jerry app to find the best rates on the best car insurance for you, so you can be sure your car is protected.
