How do you remove glue from a car door?
My kids were playing with their school art project in the backseat and it hadn’t finished drying. Now there’s glue all over the inside of the car door. How can I remove this glue?

Sorry to hear about your mess. You can remove glue from a car door by using a household chemical. Pick one of the following only:
- WD-40
- Rubbing alcohol (isopropyl)
- Nail polish remover (acetone)
Wear gloves and work in a well-ventilated space while trying to get the glue off. Make sure your kids are in a separate room, too.
First, pick a hidden test spot on your door to make sure the chemical doesn’t cause any discoloration. You’re going to want to soak the glue-covered area with the chemical until it’s wet. (You can also soak the area with a wet cloth before applying the chemical.)
Don’t leave the door soaking for long periods of time. The chemical should work to remove the glue quickly.
