How do you remove car badge adhesive?

How do I remove adhesive from my car? I have an older truck and the Ford emblem fell off the back. Rather than get a new one, I just want to remove the car badge adhesive.

“The best way to remove the car badge adhesive is to use a specialized cleaner like Goo Gone Automotive. Alternatively, you could try rubbing alcohol.
Here’s what to do:
  • Apply the product to the adhesive.
  • Let it sit for several minutes.
  • Then, use a rag to rub in a circular motion until the adhesive is gone.
  • Finally, remove any excess Goo Gone with dish soap and warm water.
Whichever product you choose, be sure to test it on a small, less noticeable area of your car first to ensure it doesn’t discolor
your paint job
. Also, keep in mind that removing the car badge may hurt the
retail value of your car
. So replacing it might be the better option.
