How do you remove car badge adhesive?

How do I remove adhesive from my car? I have an older truck and the Ford emblem fell off the back. Rather than get a new one, I just want to remove the car badge adhesive.

“The best way to remove the car badge adhesive is to use a specialized cleaner like Goo Gone Automotive. Alternatively, you could try rubbing alcohol.
Here’s what to do:
  • Apply the product to the adhesive.
  • Let it sit for several minutes.
  • Then, use a rag to rub in a circular motion until the adhesive is gone.
  • Finally, remove any excess Goo Gone with dish soap and warm water.
Whichever product you choose, be sure to test it on a small, less noticeable area of your car first to ensure it doesn’t discolor your paint job. Also, keep in mind that removing the car badge may hurt the retail value of your car. So replacing it might be the better option.
