Putting new windshield washer fluid into your car is a quick and easy process and an easy way to get more hands-on with your

. To put washer fluid in your car, follow these simple steps:
  1. Purchase a jug of windshield washer fluid. You can usually find these at your local department store, auto supply shop, or even at a gas station.
  2. Open your hood
    and locate the wiper fluid reservoir. It will usually be a bright-colored cap with a windshield icon on it.
  3. Remove the lid and use a funnel to pour the fluid into the reservoir. Leave a couple of inches of space at the top.
  4. Screw the cap back in and lower your hood.
