How do you pull a car over to the curb?
What can I do to pull over my car without hitting the curb? Every time I pull over I either hit the curb or end up way too far away. What can I do to fix this?

Parking can be tricky, and plenty of people have difficulty pulling to the curb—so try not to worry! If you need to
pull your car over
, try to use stationary objects around you to gauge the distance to the curb.Here are some examples of good reference points:
- other cars on the curb
- signs on the curb
- trees on the sidewalk
As you pull over, use your side mirror to estimate your distance from the curb. If you pulled in at an angle:
- adjust your position by putting your car in reverse,
- turning your wheel towards the curb, and
- slowly backing up.
From there, you can pull forward as needed!
