How do you protect yourself from the sun while driving?
I got a sunburn while driving on a road trip, which has never happened to me before. All of the windows were up, so I definitely wasn’t expecting it. How can I block the sun while driving?

Sunburns are no fun! To protect yourself from the sun while driving, try the following:
Wear protective clothing. This could mean long-sleeve shirts, sunglasses, long pants, or even a scarf. If your skin is covered, you won’t get burned.
Put on sunscreen. It’s not just for the beach! If you know that you’ll be driving on a particularly sunny day, put on some sunscreen before you hit the road.
Get UV-protection film. You can buy UV-protection film for your car windows to block out harmful rays.
. If it’s legal in your state, consider darkening your windows.
Keep your windows up. While you can still get a sunburn with closed windows (as you learned), keeping them rolled up is a great way to block out the majority of UV rays.
