- Let your engine warm up fully before driving. If it’s really cold, consider purchasing an engine block heater to prevent damage to your engine.
- Make sure you have the proper snow tires or tires rated for the weather conditions.
- Get your battery checked and ensure there’s no corrosion.
- Wash your car regularly to limit issues such as rusting or corrosion from salt.
- Get the best snow brush and ice scraper you can find.
- Check your car’s fluids regularly.
